Hey everybody, welcome! 🤍 I’m Janae, co-owner of Modern Hair Studio. I have been behind the chair, hands in hair for 13 years and counting. Both in and out of the salon I am a creative and empathetic person who loves to make people laugh and feel good about themselves! Whether you want to kick back & relax or get into the most random of topics, I’m here for it. It’s important to me that I provide an inclusive, fun and reliable atmosphere where you can expect to leave with hair you love! My specialties include: ✨ CUTTING ✨ I obsess over the fine detailing and shaping that goes into creating the latest trendy cuts. Some of my favorites have been wolf cuts, shags, the latest fringe styles, bixies, textured bobs, fades and designs. ✨ BLONDES ✨ Whether you’re a light & bright platinum or more of a natural & lived in balayage, I got you. I will ensure we lighten your hair while keeping the health and integrity as a top priority with Olaplex. ✨ CURLIES ✨ I find it so rewarding and fun when I am able to help someone discover that they have natural curly hair. CANCELLATION POLICY
At Modern Hair Studio, we value the time of both our guests and our stylists. To provide the best possible experience and maintain an efficient schedule, we kindly ask all clients to follow the appointment and cancellation guidelines outlined below. 1.CLIENTS NOT ENROLLED IN MEMBERSHIP Clients must notify their stylist or reschedule online within the required cancellation window. - 48 hour (2 day) cancellation window for: — Haircuts & Clean Up’s — Waxing — Shorter treatments Appointments canceled within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the service cost - 96 hour (4 day) cancellation window for: — Color services — 1.5+ hour treatments — Appointments canceled within 120 hours will be charged 100% of the original service cost All outstanding fees must be paid before a future appointment can be scheduled. 2.ENROLLED MONTHLY MEMBERS Members must notify their stylist or reschedule online within the required cancellation window. - 24 hour (1 day) cancellation window for: — Haircuts & Clean Up’s — Waxing — Shorter treatments Appointments canceled within 24 hours will lose the booked value of that month’s credits and will be charged 100% of the original cost of any added services - 72 hour (3 day) cancellation window for: — Color services — 1.5+ hour treatments — Appointments canceled within 96 hours will lose the booked value of that month’s credits and will be charged 100% of the original cost of any added services All outstanding fees must be paid before a future appointment can be scheduled 3.COLOR APPOINTMENTS & LATE ARRIVALS Please note that all color services are priced hourly. If a client arrives late to their appointment, the amount of time they are late will be added to the total cost of the service. - Hourly color rate: $80/hour — 15 minutes late = $20 — 30 minutes late = $40 — 45 minutes late = $60 ————————————————————————————————————————— Your stylist will always do their best to notify you as soon as possible if something causes them to run behind schedule. If the delay is caused by your stylist, this fee will not be applied to your service total. If you choose to reschedule due to your stylist running behind, your late cancellation fee will also be waived. If your stylist is delayed more than 15 minutes, or if you must reschedule due to this scenario, you will be offered 50% off any retail items or haircut of your choice for the next 48 hours. Please be sure to review your appointment confirmation message sent by GlossGenius at the time of booking to avoid any additional charges related to your color services. We understand that unexpected situations can arise and some appointments cannot be kept. If you know you will be unable to attend your appointment, please contact your stylist as soon as possible so we can assist you in rescheduling.
